Players are occasionally able to play up in a higher division than their age dictates due to their skill level and/or past experience. 

ABYB Playing-Up Policy Statement (dated 2/11/19)

The ABYB Player Agent will review all of the information provided below along with the feedback from prior seasons’ ABYB coaches. The Player Agent may also request a player evaluation session. If the evaluation session needs to happen prior to the fields being open, an indoor session may be required (30 min cage fee may apply).

The Player Agent will present his/her recommendation(s) to the ABYB Board for approval. The ABYB Player Agent will contact you once a decision is determined. The ABYB Board’s decisions are final.

Minors Divisions Playing-Up Request Process: 

If you believe your child should be allowed to "play up", follow the below steps. 
DO NOT alter your child's age in the system to accommodate this desire.  

Register in the division your age range dictates.

In the "New Experience" section of the registration process, note that your child would like to play up a division.

After finishing the registration process, email the player agent [email protected]

Please include:

·         Child's name

·         Division registered in

·         Division you would like for them to play up to

·         Brief explanation of past experience and/or why they should play up a division

·         Names of prior ABYB coaches

Note: Different levels of play may have different registration costs.
